Joining two other boba tea shops in Missoula, a dazzling boba tea food truck has opened and is planning to revolutionize your beverage experience. This mobile shop brings the beloved tradition of boba tea to the streets.
Bobablastic is a small but mighty red truck that sets up shop at 4570 North Reserve in the parking lot of the Cenex. Joe Rokosch, who runs the truck, lived here for the first 23 years of his life and has since moved away and back. Rokosch hopes to establish the current location as the truck’s permanent spot, but has additional goals. “In the spring I’d like to open a second location, maybe off Brooks Street somewhere, and in the summer have some sort of traveling location to do events with.”
“Bobablastic is a franchise with 80 locations in the US and growing. Also, the company will be expanding globally this year,” said Rokosch.
The menu consists of a large array of specialty teas and blended drinks, as well as a unique selection of foods from cheese fries, hot dogs, wings and nachos to rice and chicken bowls, freshly made poke bowls, musubi, crispy gyoza and spring rolls to sweets such as churros, banana and cheesecake dippers.
While Rokosch encourages patrons to explore any drink on the menu, emphasizing the truck’s reputation for exceptional beverages, his personal recommendation leans towards the poke bowls which he brought to the menu. He knows plenty about it, as he’s been a sushi chef for over a decade. Rokosch said, “I have options for almost anyone that’s hungry.”
Bobablastic not only adds a burst of flavor to the Missoula culinary landscape but also fosters a sense of community, drawing locals and visitors alike to experience the joy of boba tea in a mobile and exciting setting. It undoubtedly stands as a testament to the evolving culinary diversity in Missoula and the ever-expanding global reach of the beloved boba tea tradition.
