As you walk through the halls of Hellgate High School, you’ve probably noticed the friendly faces on our Leaky Cauldron baristas. Let’s get to know a few of them!
Sally Painter works the Tuesday morning shift from 7:30 to 9:30 am.
Favorite thing about the coffee cart: “My favorite thing about the coffee cart is meeting the students and crafting drinks that bring them joy.”
Connection to Hellgate: Painter has a Junior at Hellgate.
Fun Facts: Painter’s drink of choice while working is a double shot latte with two pumps of caramel. She describes herself as “enthusiastic and boisterous due to the occasional caffeine kick.”
Michelle Thornblade works the Wednesday morning shift from 7:30 to 9:30 am.
Favorite thing about the coffee cart: “I love getting to know other parents and seeing kids I know.”
Connection to Hellgate: Thornblade has two sons, one graduated last year, and one is currently a junior. They are also hosting an exchange student from Spain.
Fun Facts: “I didn’t start drinking coffee until I was almost 30.”
Rhett Hoff works the Monday and Wednesday morning shifts from 7:30 to 9:30 am.
Favorite thing about the coffee cart: “I love interacting with all the students, staff, and parents who come to the coffee cart. “Everyone is so friendly!” Hoff also says he loves all the “amazing energy at Hellgate. “It feels great to be involved in our community.”
Connection to Hellgate: Hoff currently has a son who is a junior.
Fun Facts: Hoff also volunteers for Hellgate Band Parents.
Erin Berryman works the Wednesday morning shift from 7:30 to 9:30.
Favorite thing about the coffee cart: “I love getting a little glimpse into the world of high schoolers.”
Connection to Hellgate: Berryman currently has a son who is a sophomore, along with two younger kids who will be attending Hellgate in a few years.
Fun Facts: “I also work at Rattlesnake Elementary so I see a lot of familiar faces.”
