Why to Boycott Jimmy Johns

Big game hunting undermines the true values of hunting and getting meat in the most ethical way possible. If someone is a meat eater, hunting is the most ethical way to kill an animal. It’s an experience in which the hunter can connect with the environment and animal that they hunt for. Big game hunting, on the other hand, is for no other reason but to fuel an ego and pose with endangered animals for fun and sport. This is the number one reason to avoid the sandwich shop, Jimmy Johns. Although they may have super quick and delicious sandwiches, the man behind it all is not someone you want to support. Since 2010, the owner of this business, Jimmy John Liautaud, has been hunting endangered species in Africa. He killed an African Elephant, Rhino, and Delta leopard, and after the photos of him posing with his kills went viral on the internet, the movement to boycott Jimmy Johns has gained momentum. As the movement continues and more people boycott the sandwich shop, Jimmy Johns could and should face issues in the future.
