This year’s highly anticipated offseason resolved Le’Veon Bell’s holdout drama, relocated two of the best wide receivers in the game, and gave the Browns the pieces they needed to make the playoffs. Some teams made progress, like the Jaguars getting a competent QB in Nick Foles. Some teams dug themselves deeper into misery, such as the Giants taking Daniel Jones with the sixth pick in the draft. Here’s the top five moments of the offseason.

  1. Steelers Core Scatters

The Jets picked up Le’Veon Bell, and Antonio Brown got traded to the Raiders, but the Steelers aren’t lacking in skill position talent. James Connor will take the torch from Bell, and Juju Smith-Schuster will take over for AB. Expect to see a whole new Steelers team next season.

  1. Arizona QB Drama

The Cards took college phenom Kyler Murray #1, but that couldn’t have made Josh Rosen happy, who they took with the #10 pick last year. After waiting months for a serviceable offer, Arizona dumped Rosen over to the Dolphins for a second rounder and fifth round pick. Pretty good deal for a top ten pick.

  1. Browns Roster Overhaul

Now with new weapons for Baker Mayfield to utilize, the Browns are looking to take the AFC North. Former LSU teammates Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry are reunited and the controversial Kareem Hunt could add a spark to their offense. Greedy Williams was a good pickup for them in the second round of the draft, rounding out their secondary.

  1. Kamara Takes Over in New Orleans

With Mark Ingram departing to the Baltimore Ravens, stud running back Alvin Kamara finds himself without any major competition (unless you consider Latavius Murray competition). Fantasy owners rejoiced after hearing this, likely meaning that Kamara will be a workhorse back, leading to the potential of a 1,000 yard rushing and 1,000 yard receiving year.

  1. Giants Fans Disgusted

With the 6th pick in the 2019 NFL draft the New York Giants select……Daniel Jones??!! Fans were shocked when the Giants passed on defensive talents like Josh Allen and Ed Oliver, and had figured that if the Giants were taking a QB, it would be Dwayne Haskins. Now maybe Jones will play with a chip on his shoulder, similar to the likes of Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, but until he plays, the pick will go down in infamy.
